01What this site is

Handicap Desk explains Asian handicap lines from the increment outward: what a whole, half and quarter line asks for, how a split stake settles, how pushes work on whole lines, how the same arithmetic applies to Asian totals and to sports other than football, and how the two prices in a two-way market carry an operator's margin.

Every page is static HTML with no runtime JavaScript, no trackers and no accounts. Nothing on the site records what you read.

02How it is funded, and what that means

The site is funded by affiliate links to partner sportsbooks. If you open an account through one of those links, we may be paid, at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked as sponsored and they never determine what a page says.

No sportsbook, exchange, market or operator is named as a recommendation anywhere on this site, and no page states that any operator's rules are correct, fair or the industry standard. When a rule is described, it is described as something an operator writes and you should read.

• No claim of an edge. Understanding how a quarter line settles does not create a profitable strategy. The margin in the price is still there.
• No advice. Nothing here is betting, financial, legal or tax advice.
• No guarantee about any operator. Rules for settlement, voids and retirement differ between operators and can change without notice; only the operator you use can tell you its rules.
